How to register as unemployed

You must register as unemployed at the Jobcenter's website, jobnet.dk, on your first day of unemployment. The earliest you can get benefits is the day you register as unemployed with the Jobcenter.

CA will be notified automatically that you have registered as unemployed. Within 24 hours, you will receive an email from us describing the actions required on your part in order to be eligible for benefits. Most unemployed people must go through seven steps and send us an unemployment statement, which is your application for benefits.
