Membership fee
You pay a fee to CA to be a member of the unemployment insurance fund, CA Legal Support and the early retirement scheme. Your membership fee is collected quarterly in advance and is adjusted annually at the beginning of the year. All your membership fees are deductible for tax purposes and are automatically reported to the Danish tax authorities.
You must also pay membership fees when you are unemployed or on maternity or paternity leave. The amount of your membership fee depends on the insurance cover you request. You’ll receive your bill in eBoks, and it’s a good idea to sign up for BetalingsService for automated payments.
