Jobcenter

When you become unemployed, you must register as unemployed at Jobnet.dk or your local Jobcenter.

The purpose behind the Jobcenter is to help unemployed find a job focusing on job search, employment facilitation services, counselling and guidance. The aim of the Jobcenter is also to help companies procure labour for their vacancies.

As an unemployed you’ll be invited to meetings at the Jobcenter, and on the Jobcenter’s website, jobnet.dk, you’ll have to complete your job log, which is an element of your availability for work.

You can only be paid benefits in periods you are registered as unemployed at Jobnet.dk.
