Early retirement benefit / scheme

The early retirement scheme is a Danish welfare scheme that allows you to retire from the labour market some years before your pension age and to receive social benefits.

To earn the right to early retirement benefits, you must have joined the early retirement scheme and pay early retirement contributions for at least 30 years.

How much you’ll get from your early retirement scheme depends on when you retire early and the amount of your pension savings.
