Benefit rights
To be eligible for benefits for 3,848 hours (equivalent to 2 years), you must have been a member of an unemployment insurance fund for at least 12 months.
If you have recently graduated, other rules apply.
If you have not previously received benefits, you need to meet a minimum income requirement. If you have previously received benefits, you must generally meet a work hour requirement to have the right to benefits.
