Activation programmes

After having been unemployed for a period, you have the right and the duty to participate in activation programmes. This is one of the obligations you have as unemployed to be eligible for benefits.

You agree with your Jobcenter what kind of activation programme best matches your needs and labour market demand.

Below are examples of activation programmes:

• A wage-subsidised job in the private or public sector
• Company internship 
• Training and guidance programmes
